Yes!! ALL items are handmade by me (Amber) and can take up to 2-30 hours to make depending on the item. Great design can take time! Each item is handmade, hand-drawn, designed, hand-crocheted or hand-knitted, and some are even sewn! Please be kind about the pricing as these items take a lot of time and love to make! Most importantly, we do not use any sort of unethical mass production to create our products! It’s just me making our products! Everything is made with so much love and good intent!

All products on our website has been carefully photographed and color-corrected for accuracy. However, every computer screen is different so we are unable to guarantee the accuracy of the images as viewed on your computer.

Turnaround time for CUSTOM ORDERS is currently 2-3 weeks on all made to order products being that we have experienced a large influx in orders over the past few weeks. This time frame can change at any given moment but please allow us the time we need to create your order. We do our best to get your order out as soon as possible. You will receive two updates through email. The first, when your order is placed and a second, when I create your shipping label. If you’d like to receive shipping updates, you may do so with your tracking number thru USPS once they receive your package. By placing an order with us, you are agreeing to this turnaround time frame. Thank you for your patience in advance!

Sometimes orders are miss-packed or items that aren’t so perfect slip through the QC process – it unfortunately happens sometimes! Should you have a problem with your order, please contact us at additionaldreamsdesign@gmail.com explaining the issue and we’ll help resolve it ASAP!

We aim to do an item drop once a month, but it could sometimes be longer as all items are made by one person, me! We may restock certain items once in a while, but get in quick as it may not be available again! If you see something out of stock or have an idea to share, I’m always accepting custom orders.

We don’t currently have a size guide, but will precisely measure all items that are listed.

Yes, however you must let me know as soon as you order. Please either email me or directly type in the notes area when placing the order. I will try to get to all of them, but also be aware that I may not be able to fulfill everyone’s requests 🙁

Shipping

We ship everything via the chosen shipping option within three(3) business days of receiving your order. We often ship on the early side of that, so if you need to make a change to your order or shipping address, please do so ASAP by contacting us at additionaldreamsdesign@gmail.com. Once your order has been marked shipped, we are unable to make changes. You are responsible for providing a correct shipping address. Orders shipped to a buyer-provided incorrect address will not be refunded or replaced until the original order is returned by the USPS. Shipping is not refundable if an incorrect address was given.

If your order has not delivered yet, you can contact USPS to change your address. Otherwise, the package will be sent back to our shop, and you will have to pay the shipping fee again to get your order.

On special occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Graduation, Halloween, and Christmas, we will try our best to prepare your order within 1- 3 days (not including delivery time or custom orders). However, on normal day, we regret to say that it is impossible.

***PLEASE NOTE*** Starting Oct. 1st, the USPS will be implementing new service standards which include a slowdown for mail, so we can all expect longer delivery times. We’ll still be sending out orders quickly with a processing time of no more than 1-3 business days of the order being placed. (Custom orders may vary) Once orders are in the mail we are at the mercy of the USPS. Thank you in advance for your patience! Once mailed, US orders typically take 7-10 business days (sometimes longer) to arrive.

There is an option to upgrade to USPS First Class shipping with tracking (3-5days) – Larger products default to that option. Smaller stickers items default to USPS Non-Machinable Stamp with NO tracking (7-14days). There is also an option to upgrade to USPS Priority Mail with tracking/$100 insurance coverage (3days). We also offer Priority Mail Express with tracking/$100 insurance coverage (1day).

You should receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking info once your order has been shipped! Please wait 1-3 days (US) for your tracking information to update or 5-7 days elsewhere. Shipping notification emails should send automatically after your order has been shipped but sometimes they mysteriously don’t! If it’s been 7+ days since your order has been placed and you don’t receive a shipping notification, feel free to contact us so we can get you your tracking info or give you an update on your order!

Shipping time starts only when your order has been dispatched from our shop to the courier service and not including the time we prepare/make the product. It usually takes 1-3 days for in stock items. Custom orders can sometimes take 14-21 days (not include Saturday, Sunday and Holiday) completing the final product because they are all handmade to order.

Unfortunately, we are not responsible for stolen package orders due to delivery. You WILL want to contact USPS for more information about your order in this case.

YES, we do ship internationally! All international orders are shipped via Royal Mail and are handed off to your local postal company once outside the US. Shipping prices are calculated during the checkout process and are based on quantity purchased, weight, and your location. We cannot control how much Royal Mail charges for shipping unfortunately! Customs and import duties may be applied to orders when your shipment reaches its destination. Additional Dreams Design is not responsible for these fees. If your package has been marked as delivered and you did not receive it, often times it is being held at your local post office for you to pay customs fees. Please note that all possible further customs and duty fees are the customer’s responsibility to pay. These may vary by country.

Crochet

Most of our crochet and knitted clothing is made from 100% Acrylic yarn (unless otherwise noted in listing) and needs to be handled with care. Hand or machine wash your items on 30 degrees or below. Air dry or tumble dry your items on a low setting. If bobbles begin to appear, use a de-bobbler or carefully trim the bobbles with scissors (sometimes bobbles can appear on acrylic pieces because of the friction and over-washing). Items such as earrings, cushions, home decor, etc are spot clean only.

Stickers/Decals

All vinyl stickers and decals are weatherproof under normal conditions. This doesn’t include ice scrapers or snow scrapers. Please avoid putting your decals and stickers in the path of wiper blades and scrapers. The glossy laminated stickers are not waterproof, but are coated to protect them against daily wear and tear – these are ideal for laptops, binders, and other smooth surfaces that won’t get wet.

The vinyl stickers and decals are permanent as long as you want them to be, but able to be 100% removed when you’re done with them. The glossy/not-waterproof stickers will vary depending on the surface they’ve been placed on.

***Go slow!*** Your decal is sandwiched between a backing paper and a top transfer tape. 1: Make sure the smooth, non-porous surface is very clean and very dry. 2: Prepare the decal for application by firmly rubbing a squeegee or credit card across the transfer tape (the top layer). This makes the decal cling to the transfer tape. 3: Peel the backing paper off the decal. If the decal clings to the backing, slowly replace the backing and repeat Step 2. 4: Lower the decal onto the surface and rub it in place firmly with a squeegee or credit card. 5: Slowly peel the clear transfer tape off at an angle. Be careful not to pull the decal off the surface. If decal pulls away from the surface repeat Step 4.

Sometimes air bubbles can appear under the decal during placement. If this happens, use your fingers to gently push them towards the edge. I’ve also found that most usually work their way out on their own after a day or so if left alone, so don’t panic if you see any. The best way to prevent air bubbles is to place one side of the decal/sticker down first and gradually lower the rest of it, smoothing it on to the surface as you go. Think of it as a soft rolling motion, rather than placing the whole thing down at once, which is how air gets trapped inside.

The easiest way to get them off glass is with a flat razor blade. That will clean it off completely without scratching the window/surface. It usually takes a few passes, first to clear off the decal, then another pass or two to remove any residue. Please do this carefully. We are not responsible for any damage you do to yourself or your belongings during the removal of stickers or decals. For decals on the painted part of the car or other smooth/non-porous surfaces, you can pull those off with your fingernail and use Goo Gone to take off any leftover residue. For obvious reasons, don’t use the razor blade on a painted area, or really anything except glass, since it will scratch up the surface.

If you put them on a smooth surface like a laptop, you’ll be able to peel them off and use a little alcohol or Goo Gone to get any extra residue off. If you put them on a notebook or something less smooth, they will not come off cleanly, so they are best meant for a surface where they can stay forever.

Jewelry

All product descriptions contain information on what type of metal the piece is made of and how to properly care for that type of metal. First, find if the product is gold filled, sterling silver, gold plated or silver plated. Remember: Gold filled and sterling silver based pieces are safe to wear in water. Gold and silver plated based pieces should not be worn in water to prevent discoloration from occurring over time! Please read the description to learn how to care for your product properly! If you have future questions on how to care for the product, contact us.

We are happy to repair your jewelry for free within the first year of purchasing from us. Customer will be responsible for covering postage costs there and back however. If the damage is considered more than a simple “repair”, we may refuse to fix it for free. All repairs after the one year mark will require a small repair fee of $15. Contact us if you are seeking a repair.

YES! All gemstones used are authentic and natural occurring. We do not use glass or plastic imitation crystals at all! None of our gemstones are dyed or heat treated to appear as a different gemstone either. We source our materials and gemstones from reliable verified suppliers and vendors within the United States so we know we are using genuine organic gemstones.

No, it will not tarnish, but you have to take care of your jewelry properly. I have tested my pieces for a series of months and they have not tarnished. However, be aware that our pieces must be handled delicately and to preserve the longevity of your jewelry, you should avoid wearing it in water or near moist creams and moisturizers. However, getting the jewelry wet should not cause discoloration.

Our jewelry typically is nickel free, stainless steel or gold plated.
